NEW ORLEANS - Martina Navratilova now promotes active lifestyles at any age as health and fitness ambassador for the AARP.
Before then, Navratilova dominated tennis courts around the world, winning a record nine Wimbledon singles championships in a phenomenal career that spanned four decades.
Navratilova is in New Orleans for the AARP's "Life@50+" national convention and she joined us in the studio with more information.
The event is happening Thursday through Saturday at the Morial Convention Center.
The event is star-studded and features several events and exhibits.
Online registration for the conference is closed, but you can still register on site at the convention center.
