NEW ORLEANS - You never need an excuse for cooking and eating crawfish in Louisiana.

But if you need one for this weekend, UNO's new Crawfish Mambo festival will work nicely, especially when you add music by Bonerama, Mia Borders and Rockin' Dopsie (just to name a few of the bands that will be playing.)

Brian Glorioso, a festival organizer, and Chef James Lee of City Diner, one of the food vendors, was in the studio to tell us more about the festival.

The very first UNO Crawfish Mambo, cookoff and music festival, will be held May 12 from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on campus in the main quad.

You can get more information on the festival by calling 280-2586 or visiting crawfishmambo.com.
