NEW ORLEANS - "Each One Save One" is an organization known for its community youth mentoring programs.

The group is raising money to further its work by hosting a BBQ Cookoff.

The event will feature top-notch grilling and great music.

Each One Save One Board President Fred Parker and Executive Director Sherah Alaimo joined us with the details on Wednesday.

The second annual Q'n for Kids BBQ Cookoff is Saturday.

It is from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Palmer Park.

Admission is free and besides great BBQ, there will be performances by Kermit Ruffins, Rockin' Dopsie, Gina Brown and many more.
