NEW ORLEANS - In 1964, Beatlemania hit New Orleans in a big way.

Thousands of screaming fans packed City Park for a special concert featuring the fab four - John, Paul, George and Ringo.

And 47 years later, the Beatles and their music still have a strong hold on the city, which helped inspire the New Orleans Beatles Festival, now in its tenth year.

Members of The Topcats, Robert Schulte and Chuck Credo, were in the studio with the details.

The festival is Saturday at the House of Blues on Decatur Street - doors open at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m.

For tickets call 310-4999 or visit http://www.houseofblues.com/tickets/eventdetail.php?eventid=75236.

The festival features an incredible line up of acts, including the Molly Ringwalds and Rockin' Dopsie Jr., as well as The Topcats.

We got a preview of the performance in the studio on Wednesday from The Topcats.
