NEW ORLEANS - The seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina is August 29.
In commemoration, the Neighborhoods Partnership Network is showing New Orleans residents the progress parts of the city have made on blight and education.
Timmolyn Sams of the Neighborhood Partnership Network was in the studio on Monday with more information.
"Connecting the Neighborhood" Bus Tours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It begins at the Neighborhoods Partnership Network's office at 4902 Canal Sr. and will cover Broadmoor, St. John parkview and Carrolton-Hollygrove neighborhoods.
