NEW ORLEANS - A key element in crime prevention is community involvement, which is the goal of the annual Central City Community Engagement Forum.

Central City residents will meet with law enforcement officials to discuss their problems and collaborate on solutions.

U.S. Attorney Jim Letten, New Orleans Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas and Tawama Waugh of the Central City/Hoffman Triangle community were in the studio with more on this years meeting.

The forum is Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Elementary School at 2405 Jackson Avenue.
