NEW ORLEANS - Channel 4's "Concert 4 Flood Relief" is live at Tipitina's Uptown and raises money for United Way.

Mia Borders is one of the featured performers you'll see live on stage and on our sister station, WUPL 54 (Cox channel 2 and Charter channel 16.)

Mia joined us to talk about the event on Friday.

Borders performs along with the Stooges Brass Band at the concert.

Laura Buchtel and Mike Hoss will host the show.

You can be part of the live audience.

Donate a non-perishable food item at the door and get free admission starting at 7:00 p.m.

After 9 p.m. you'll get a discounted, $12 admission with a canned good donation, and the Honey Island Swamp Band takes the stage.

If you can't be there, we'll also have a phone bank set up in the studio to take donations.

If you want to donate now, you can do that, too. Text "wwl" to the number "80088" to donate $10 to storm victims through United Way.
