You can learn about the Cajun way of life on Bayou Lafourche in Larose.

Music, boat building and folk-life presentations are a big part of the French Food Festival.

But, no festival would be complete without cooking and food.

Henri Boulet and Jerry Lafont were in the kitchen with details of the festival and a preview of what's on the menu.

The festival is held every year at the Larose Regional Park down the bayou, and it lasts Friday through Sunday.
