NEW ORLEANS - Celebrating all things Gentilly, Gentilly Fest rolls into its fifth year at Pontchartrain Park.

It's family-friendly fun with live music and food.

The free event also supports several groups like New Orleans police, fire and EMS.

Festival chair Denise McConduit  and sponsorship chair Gretchen Bradford were in the studio with more details. We also had Vanessa Quai, all the way from the South Pacific, who is making her U.S. musical debut at the festival.

The fest begins at 6 p.m. on Friday on the corner of Prentiss and Press drives.

The fest runs through Sunday and is free and open to the public.

Quai performs on the main stage on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the main stage.

For more information, visit http://gentillyfest.com/.

We got a preview of Quai's performance on Friday!
