NEW ORLEANS - The local armed services will be saluted at a special event featuring great music and food from some of the best chefs and restaurants in New Orleans.
One of those chefs is Robert Plouffe of Roux on Orleans who was in our kitchen Monday morning.
We were also joined by Greater New Orleans Navy League Area President Bobbie Whiddon with the details on the event.
The second annual "Taste 'n Toast to Our Armed Forces" is Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel on Orleans Avenue.
