NEW ORLEANS - We love to see our Saints do great things both on and off the field.

Safety Malcolm Jenkins is doing just that.

He recently received a big award from his alma mater for all his work in the community.

Jenkins' foundation is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for local youth and Hurricane Isaac recovery efforts.

He stopped by the studio to tell us all about "Taste of New Orleans." He was joined by Chef Vernell Gibson of Ruth's Chris and restaurant General Manager Jerry Celestine.

The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation will host the fundraiser on Monday, September 24.

It starts at 7 p.m. at the Pavilion of Two Sisters in City Park.

For more on the event, call 366-8063 or visit http://mjftasteofneworleans.eventbrite.com/.
