Now in its 24th year, the Monster Mash is not only a great family event for Northshore residents, it's a major fundraiser for the St. Tammany Parish Hospital Parenting Center.

Once again, kids will be able to enjoy the trick or treat village, go on scavenger hunt and much more, while the adults listen to great music and sample great food.

The Executive Director Lori Cage of The Parenting Center and Susan Tullos Morgan and Gail Adams, both event organizers, were in the studio with more information.

The event takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. in Bogue Falaya Park in Covington.

For more information, call 985-898-4435 or go to http://www.stph.org/content/MonsterMash.htm.

We were treated to performances from some of the musical talent on Tuesday.
