NEW ORLEANS - If you bleed purple and gold, yell, "Roll tide" or cheer on the Vols, you can put your differences aside and celebrate the start of the college football season.

The 11th annual Crescent City SEC Kickoff also benefits Playworks, which provides physical activities in local schools.

Kristen Preau and Kathleen Parke of the kickoff party and Dana Greenup of Playworks were in the kitchen to give us more information on the event.

The party is Friday at Fulton on Tap from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
