NEW ORLEANS - Satchmo SummerFest is the city's celebration of it's most famous entertainer - Louis Armstrong.

The weekend long event features music, of course, but also seminars, free dance lessons and lots of activities for kids.

Marci Schramm, executive director of French Quarter Festivals, Inc., was in the studio to tell us more about the festival.

It's happening Friday through Sunday at the Louisiana State Museum's Old U.S. Mint.

If you want to take in a performance by Harmonouche, who performed in WWLTV's studio on Friday,  go to the Cornet Chop Suey Stage at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
