NEW ORLEANS - There may be no better place to host an event focused on Louisiana seafood than the Audubon Aquarium.
The third annual "Scales and Ales" pairs New Orleans cuisine with an extensive selection of beers, and it's all for a good cause.
Brenda Walkenhorst of the Audubon Institute was in the studio with Ewell Smith of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board to fill us in on the details.
We were also joined in the kitchen by Red Fish Grill Executive Chef Austin Kirzner.
Scales and Ales is Friday from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Audubon Aquarium.
Tickets are $55 dollars and includes food and drinks.
For tickets call 861-5107 or visit http://www.auduboninstitute.org/scalesandales.
