NEW ORLEANS - Just across the street from our Lady of Guadalupe Church on Rampart Street is the St. Jude Community Center.
It's a real haven for the homeless, providing adult basic education along with breakfast and lunch on weekdays.
But, making ends meet isn't easy.
That's where next weekend's concert benefit comes in.
Ed Perkins and Sister Beth Mouch were in the studio to tell us about "Sounds of New Orleans."
The second annual concert is Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Mahalia Jackson Theater.
