NEW ORLEANS - Algiers' free, weekly summer concert series is back Wednesday night with a big show at the riverfront.
The kick off marks the fifth year of "Wednesdays on the Point."
Chris Kane, president of the Algiers Economic Development Foundation, joined us with more information.
The summer festival concert series kicks off June 6 with the Lagniappe Brass Band and Wild Magnolia Mardi Gras Indians.
The free concert is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Algiers ferry dock at 200 Morgan St.
