The Marine Corps Band New Orleans Jazz Ensemble joins the Eyewitness Morning News with its big crew of performers to talk about their concerts that are part of their Very Marine Christmas series. It's a free holiday concert series the New Orleans Marine Corps is hosting in partnership with Toys for Tots, and Chief Warrant Officer, Bryan Sherlock gives details.

Friday, the Marine Corps Jazz Ensemble and Brass Band will perform at Irvin Mayfield’s Jazz Playhouse at 7 pm, in the French Quarter at the Royal Sonesta Hotel. All concerts are free and open to the public, and the marines will be there to accept new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots.

Then on Sunday, the Marine Corps Band is having their final performance in the A Very Marine Christmas series at 5 pm at Ursuline Academy. For more information call 697-7849.
