NEW ORLEANS - Finding great music in New Orleans...that's easy. Making a living in New Orleans as a musician...that's not always so easy.
Now, through Bill Summers' New Urban Music Movement, a program with international ties, talented local musicians get a chance to hone their art with the help of some of the best in the industry.
Bill Summers was in the studio to tell us more and he brought with him an amazing young singer, 11-year-old Craig James.
The next industry mixer for NUMM will take place on June 28 at the J.W. Marriott on Canal Street. The event starts at 8 p.m.
