Death is a complicated concept for children because grief can be frightening and overwhelming, and sometimes, parents are unable to help a child through the grief process. But, the trained staff at Camp Swan can do wonders.

Joining the Eyewitness Morning News to talk about Camp Swan Program and their upcoming camp, is Camp Swan Administrator, Sue May, a representative of the Akula Foundation, a Camp Swan sponsor, Paul Mathes, and 13-year old Arnie Olsen, who went to Camp Swan several years ago, and is now a camp counselor.

The next Camp Swan weekend camp is November 22 through the 24 at Camp Living Waters in Loranger. For more information or to sign your child up for the camp, call (504) 818-2723, extension 3012.
