NEW ORLEANS - Jermaine LaCour is a former New Orleans Police Department officer who took a job as a satellite technician. He is accused of raping a customer in her home in Washington Parish.

LaCour was convicted in 2012 for illegally firing a weapon and paid his appeal bond, but the court never filed the paper work.

Orleans Parish District Attorney Leon Cannizzaro was in the studio to explain further what happened to that case and others in this one particular court.
