NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Over the next couple of months, the Equity Caucus, a group made up of community leaders and residents representing neighborhood associations, cultural groups and other organizations, will meet to plan the redevelopment of the Claiborne Avenue corridor.

The Claiborne corridor is an area where big things are happening, and joining the Eyewitness Morning News to talk more about the planning process and how citizens can get involved, is the President and CEO of the Foundation for Louisiana, Flozell Daniels.

The Foundation for Louisiana's second annual Equity Caucus will be held this Saturday, April 5, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Andrew Wilson Charter School, 3617 General Pershing Street. For more information or to register, call (225) 772-2369, or click here.
