NEW ORLEANS - For many people, the worst part of Hurricane Isaac came in the days after the storm, when thousands went for days without power.
Many people had a hard time dealing with the heat, but it was even worse for the city's elderly and disabled population.
Council Member Cynthia Hedge-Morrell planned to propose a resolution at Thursday's council meeting to help protect them in the future.
She was in the studio to tell us about it.
