NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Spring time in Metro New Orleans is also festival time, and it means lots of fun for everyone, but also lots of opportunities for robbers and thefts to catch you off guard.

Darlene Cusanza of Crimestoppers joins the Eyewitness Morning News to talk about the best ways to protect yourself during festival season in New Orleans, as well as how you can help New Orleans police solve the cold case murder of Darren "Bam" Simmons, who was murdered February 15 in the 3200 block of Lowerline Street.
