It's been nearly a year since 20 people were injured in a shooting at a Mother's Day second line. Two young men, brothers, were arrested for the shooting thanks, to a great extent, to the work of the New Orleans Police Department's Multi-Agency Gang Unit (MAG).

One of the agencies in MAG is the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and they are one of the groups being honored at Crimestoppers’ annual awards luncheon.

Joining the Eyewitness Morning News from the agency is ATF Group Supervisor, Jeff Powell, along with Crimestoppers of Greater New Orleans President and CEO, Darlene Cusanza.

The 29th annual Crimestoppers Awards Luncheon is Tuesday, March 25, in the Grand Salons of the Hilton Riverside Hotel, located at 2 Poydras Street. For more information or to make your reservations, click here.
