NEW ORLEANS - The late-summer heat became more oppressive when Hurricane Isaac caused wide-spread power outages in the metro area.

Thousands of people were left without a way to keep cool.

Dr. Peter Deblieux, director of Emergency Services at the Interim LSU Hospital, joined us with the risks of over-exertion while trying to clean up after the storm.
