NEW ORLEANS, La. -- It may be one of the fastest moving corruption cases in the history of Federal Court with jurors in the trial of former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin listening to testimony from twenty-five prosecution witnesses in just five days.
Five of those witnesses for the prosecution who took the stand, say they paid bribes to Nagin.
Now the trial turns to the defense and its first witness who told jurors Nagin had no role in deciding public bids.
Eric Paulsen is joined by WWL-TV leagal analyst Chick Foret for more prospective on the trial.
