NEW ORLEANS - Sandy Kaynor was a young man with a wife, a beautiful family and a bright future as a New Orleans attorney, until he was shot in a carjacking in his own driveway.
His recovery has been slow, mostly coming after expensive hyperbaric treatments, which his insurance company does not want to pay for.
To offset the cost of the treatments, his family and friends have organized a fundraiser.
Virginia Barkley and Chris Mann were in the studio to discuss the fundraiser.
The fundraiser is Monday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Jones Walker at 201 St. Charles Ave. on the 52nd floor.
