Mardi Gras is more than just a day, it's an experience, and to really get the full experience, you've got to wear mask.
Don't worry if you don't have one yet, you can pick up a great mask at the French Market's Annual Mardi Gras Mask Market.
The masks are partly the work of Gabriel Quirk of fantasy technicians out of Vermont, Ann Guccione of New Orleans Masks and Cris Chapman, the Mask Gal, and they join the Eyewitness Morning News with more on the Frank Market’s Mask Market.
The annual French Market Mardi Gras Mask Market will be held this weekend, Friday through Monday, in Dutch Alley, on Decatur between St. Philip and Dumaine in the French Quarter. There will be food, music and lots of beautiful masks on sale from 10 am until 6 pm.
