Manners and etiquette are learned behaviors and they can be very important skills that can help open doors to a better future for many children.

Joining the Eyewitness Morning News are some local children who are mastering those skills through the Growing Into Elegance Program, as well as the President of Growing Into Elegance, Taeneia White-Ducre, and Director and Founder, Colette Pate.

Growing Into Elegance has two events in December, their second annual Cotillion, on Sunday December 15 at Boudreaux's in Baton Rouge, at 2647 Government Street. Then, Sunday, December 22, they will take part in the annual Teddy Bear Tea at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in the French Quarter.
