NEW ORLEANS - Economists will tell you that the current recession is the longest period of high unemployment in our nation's history.
Still others are stuck in jobs they no longer want, but are afraid to lose the job they have.
Both situations can lead to low self confidence, another detriment to finding a job. But is there hope?
Motivational speaker Ann Bernard has developed a program that she will share in a series of local workshops.
On Thursday, she told us about the "Loop of Confidence."
Bernard's next series of workshops at the New Orleans Healing Center will be held from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 25 through Mar. 24.
