NEW ORLEANS - It's been a long time since the city of New Orleans has hosted a Super Bowl - 11 years to be exact.
But it's coming back to the city in February, and thousands of volunteers will be needed to help pull it off.
Jay Cicero, CEO of the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and executive director of the Super Bowl Host Committee, and Carol Asher, Super Bowl Committee volunteer coordinator, were in the studio with more information on becoming a Super Bowl volunteer.
If you'd like to be a part of Super Bowl XLVII as a volunteer, you have until December 10 to register. Registering is easy. Text "super" to 63566 or visit http://www.neworleanssuperbowl.com/.
