Sally-Ann Roberts draws her own personal inspiration from the story of one woman’s inspirational and humorous year-long journey to get her life unstuck by doing something new every day. Day one for author, mother, reporter, blogger, and cancer survivor Lu Ann Chan involves taking the Polar Bear Plunge, diving into the ocean during very cold weather. Other new things Chan tried include zip lining, eating desert all day, not saying anything negative for the day, talking to a stranger, planting an herb garden, and much, much more.

Cahn’s book I Dare Me follows her life through 365 days of doing something new every day in order to give herself a new look on life and she joins Sally-Ann to talk about why she came up with the idea and how it can help anyone looking for some personal inspiration in their own lives.

Sally-Ann loved the idea so much she is even taking on the challenge and she has already eaten a meal by herself, taken a line dancing class and recorded a CD of her own poetry.

Sally-Ann now challenges you to do the same, and she would love to hear from you on our Facebook page. We’ll be putting up a post once a week for a month on Fridays so that you can tell us what new things you’re trying out every day and what kind of impact those new things are having on your life. Are you ready for the challenge?
