This week, with hurricane season here, WWLTV is talking with local parish leaders about their plans for hurricane season.

Up first is Jefferson Parish, which saw some flooding in low-lying areas of the parish from Hurricane Isaac in 2012.

Monday morning, Jefferson Parish Chief Administrative Assistant Brian Fitzsimmons, who oversees the area of emergency management, and Charles Hudson, Jefferson Parish emergency management director, spoke about the parish’s preparedness.
