National Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day or "BRA" day will be launched in New Orleans on Wednesday.
It's an effort to raise awareness about breast reconstruction options after a mastectomy.
Singer/songwriter Jewel, who will be performing a concert in support of breast reconstruction awareness, was in the studio to discuss the initiative
The concert will be held at the Morial Convention Center on October 29 at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $35.

The launch will be held at the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery at 1717 St. Charles Avenue at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a flash mob at 10:30 a.m.
