This Christmas, the Louisiana SPCA is helping people give the perfect gift with their Santa's Special Delivery promotion. The SPCA will deliver a puppy, kitten, cat or dog to someone who is looking to adopt, a present that could give a person a new friend before the end of the year.

Joining the Eyewitness Morning News to talk more about the LA-SPCA’s Santa’s Special Delivery program is Marissa Collins, who has brought along just one of the many adoptable pets.

The Louisiana SPCA will only be able to help the first twelve people who sign up for pet delivery right now, and you can start signing up this Saturday through December 22. Anyone who wishes to adopt, must complete all adoption requirements to qualify, and the LA-SPCA is asking that you sign a waiver to allow any photos or video to be taken. Deliveries will be made either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
