Local children's entertainment co. up for Grammy for Gulf restoration song

NEW ORLEANS - The Banana Plant is a children's entertainment company made up of New Orleans natives Gwynn Torres and Sid Berger.

The songwriting duo's latest album, "Gulf Alive," is up for a Grammy at Sunday's ceremony.

The album and accompanying coloring book bring to life the creatures, culture and character of the Louisiana gulf region.

A portion of the proceeds for the album benefit gulf coast restoration.

The album is up for best children's album at the Grammy's on Sunday. You can see the show right on Channel 4 at 7 p.m.
