NEW ORLEANS - You know the names Vera Wang, Carolina Herrera, Anna Sui and Ralph Rucci, but many of those high-end designers wouldn't be anywhere without some help.
Enter Suzanne Perron, a New Orleans native, whose created works of fashionable art for all four.
She stepped out on her own several years ago, returning to New Orleans under her own label and hasn't looked back.
Perron joined us Monday with more on her book "Desinging in Ivory and White" and her carnival couture.
You can check out "Designing in Ivory and White" when it launches Mar. 3 at 7 p.m. at Martine Chaisson Gallery on Camp Street.
