Upon an initial response to answer her son's questioning of whether her father actually aided Robert F. Kennedy during his assassination, CBS correspondent Michelle Miller found archival footage of her father's interview on the shooting.

Ross Miller was the head trauma surgeon who came to Kennedy's side after the senator was shot June 5, 1968.

Her later discovery of a long-lost photograph showing Miller's father present at the assassination also validated her father's claims of his work with Kennedy. The image was found while looking through unused images owned by Bill Eppridge, the photographer present during the assassination.
