Nearly 100 restaurants to donate part of your check to HIV/Aids efforts

NEW ORLEANS - Researchers continue to look for a cure for HIV and Aids, but millions of people around the world suffer and die from this disease.

In New Orleans, the No Aids Task Force provides services to patients.

It relies on donations from the community, including funds raised at the special event "Dining Out for Life."

Culinary celebrity Poppy Tooker was in the studio to tell us more.

If you're thinking about getting a bite to eat out  on Thursday, whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, you can help out the No Aids Task Force by eating at one of the more than 80 restaurants participating in benefit.
