NEW ORLEANS - It doesn't take a Category 5 hurricane to cause flooding in Plaquemines Parish - Tropical Storm Lee caused its fair share.
The proposed "New Orleans to Venice Project" would go a long way in providing better protection.
On Thursday, the project partnership agreement will be signed by Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser and the New Orleans district commander of the Army Corps of Engineers.
The pair joined us to talk about opening the way for the levee to be constructed.
