The New Orleans Museum of Art is getting ready to kick off its annual springtime celebration with flowers as the centerpiece.

Art in Bloom is co-hosted by the Garden Study Club and this year's theme is "Perfect Palette." The 5-day event will highlight the flavor of New Orleans through artwork and of course food, and it’s all for a good cause.

Art in Bloom event co-chairs Erica Reiss and Allison Tiller join the Eyewitness Morning News, along with Chef Sue Zemanick with Gautreaux's and Ivy Restaurants.

Art in Bloom is March 19 through March 23, all proceeds will benefit education projects and exhibitions at NOMA and community projects through the Garden Study Club of New Orleans. Ticket prices range per event, so click here for more information on the events and purchasing tickets.
