Before Hurricane Katrina, it was said that New Orleans had more churches, per capita, than any city in the United States, and in the book Hallowed Halls of Greater New Orleans: Historic Churches, Cathedrals and Sanctuaries, author Deborah Burst offers a guide to this diverse city's many places of worship, and she joins the Eyewitness Morning News to talk more about her book.

The next time you can get your copy of Hallowed Halls of Greater New Orleans: Historic Churches, Cathedrals and Sanctuaries signed by author Deborah Burst will be this Saturday, April 26, because that's when she'll be at the Smith Library at 6301 Canal Boulevard in Lakeview at 2 p.m. For more information, call the library at (504) 596-2638.
