NEW ORLEANS - The 2012 New Orleans Home Builders Association's annual Parade of Homes gives those looking to buy a home in the city a chance to get an up close and personal look at some of the new properties on the market.
The vice president of the New Orleans Home Builders Association, Jon Luther, was in the studio to talk about the Parade of Homes, the new construction techniques being used, the health of the local real estate market and some of the new challenges home buyers face these days.
The 2012 Parade of Homes will be held over two weekends - June 2 and 3 and June 9 and 10 - from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
