Emotions and feelings are a part of everyday life, but for children, they are also a new experience that can often be overwhelming and confusing. Parent Educator, Luwanda Ford-Williams joins the Eyewitness Morning News with advice on what to do in order to help children come to grips with his or her emotions, including: acknowledging feelings, helping them name feelings, and letting them work through feelings.

Remember, The Parenting Center at Children's Hospital is a great resource for information on this or any family topic, and for more information you can call (504) 896-9591.
