The Plaquemines Parish Seafood Festival kicks off in Belle Chasse Friday, and the fest is celebrating its 10th anniversary with live music, a car show, a 5K run, great food and the highly anticipated oyster drop.

The festival kicks off at 6 p.m. Friday and runs through Sunday. The music starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday and at noon on Sunday. You can check out carnival rides, a car show on Saturday, plus food from dozens of vendors. For more information or directions to the festival, click here.
