Whatever path Tropical Storm Isaac takes in the end, coastal Louisiana parishes are expected to see some effects from the storm.

We were joined by Plaquemines Parish Pres. Billy Nungesser.

If you are a special needs resident in Plaquemines Parish and need assistance evacuating in the event of a storm, call the Office of Emergency Preparedness at 274-2477. Residents can also use that number to have their storm-related questions answered.

Special needs residents with a medical condition who may need help during an emergency should call the Plaquemines Health Department at 391-3706.

You can also go to their website for additional information at plaqueminesparish.com.
