NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Most of the murder victims in New Orleans and other cities nationwide are young African American men, and mayors from throughout the country are meeting in New Orleans this week for a new campaign called “Cities United.”

The new crime initiative aims to stop violence against African American men and boys, and one of the keynote speakers for the conference, United States Attorney, Kenneth Polite, and Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Justice Programs, Karol Mason, join the Eyewitness Morning News with more on the campaign.
