NEW ORLEANS - Construction starts on the new stadium at Tulane University in January, but first there needs to be a decision on how it will be used.

There is a public meeting to discuss what type of events will be held in the new facility.

The university already has it's vision for the stadium, but now the city has to agree.

Yvette Jones, executive vice president for University Relations and Development at Tulane University, was in the studio with more information.

The meeting, which is open to the public, is at 6 p.m. on Monday. It is held at the Freeman Auditorium on Tulane's campus. There will be free parking and shuttle service in the Rosen Lot from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
