There will be great music, food, and fun at this year’s NOLA New Year’s Eve Celebration on the Decatur Street stage across from Jackson square.

Eric Lindell will open up the festivities from 9 pm until 10 pm, and then Honey Island Swamp Band will take over the stage.

As far as food, Chef Christopher Brown of Harrah's is one of the participants in the city's New Year's Eve event.

Lindell joins Chef Brown on the Eyewitness Morning News, along with David Spear, owner of AFX/PRO, who produces the "Symphony in the Sky" fireworks show, and Mark Romig, President and CEO of the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation to talk about this year’s big event.

Make plans to ring in the New Year at the NOLA New Year's Eve Celebration in Jackson Square, with music from Eric Lindell, from 9 pm until 10 pm, and then the Honey Island Swamp Band for the rest of the evening. The fireworks follow the fleur de lis drop at midnight. For more information, click here.
